Our Backyard Deer

We have seen deer around our house since we moved in. Last summer I would occasionally find one eating my flowers. Scott decided to put out some deer corn in the backyard to help feed them during the winter. He built a feeder but they don't like it as much as they do the corn he throws on the ground. When they come to feed, we see anywhere between 2-8 deer at a time. He has tried several times to get a picture but one is generally on sentry duty all the time and will scatter the group in a second. He was able to take this picture this week. If you click on it, you can see two of them. As soon as he took it, they ran. We have enjoyed watching them, but he is going to have to keep feeding them if they start eating my flowers again.

I am so impressed with your technical abilities!! Wow- you have your own blog! Good Job. Plus- I'm embarrassed to say that we were near Bat Cave for almost a week last summer and didn't know that you guys lived near there!! We love that area (stayed at Ridgecrest and visited Black Mountain and Ashville). Love you- check out my blog. Heather
